These past couple of weeks have gone by so fast. I can’t believe its already May!
The doc upgraded me to one crutch and full weight bearing soooo my commute to and from work is less of a hassle.
I haven’t gone out anywhere since my surgery. Even tho I miss socializing, I’ve managed to put a decent amount of money into my savings account as a result of being such a hermit. It literally pays to be a recluse.
I started physical therapy last week and have noticed an improvement in range of motion for my knee. I can now flex my knee past 90 degrees and am working to get to 45 degree flexion. Matt, my physical therapist, gave me a list of exercises to do at home which I am doing religiously because I want my foot to touch my butt asap!
What else? …
I’m going to a destination wedding in July for 5 days with the boy, thom, egypt, and mowleanah on the island of St. John, USVI! I’m a little anxious about being able to walk and gettin fit in time for this vacation … I basically have 2 months to get back to walking and lose 10 pounds/ get toned/ bring my left leg muscles back to life from the dead.
I’m sure the boy would enjoy seeing my big ass in a bikini tho … not me lol.

I haven’t posted a reflection in 2 weeks…
So much has been going on and I’m exhausted by the time I get home from work everyday. This weekend has been relaxing… I’ll get back to posting about my recovery soon.
Soooooo much to catch up on… The good and the bad :)

I’m getting soooooo strong! Second week of commuting back and forth to work and I feel so much more stable and stronger. My arms aren’t as tired and my hands aren’t as sore from holding the crutches. Maybe this is a good thing … I’m bout to be super buff yo!
Yesterday I crutched up the hill and I wasn’t as out of breath … Progress is progress. My endurance is getting much better.Β
Screw P90X and Insanity!!! This is the OFFICIAL workout plan: The Crutch Workout. I think it’s time to start the infomercials at midnight! Any volunteers?!?!?!?!
Follow up with the Dr. Rose next Wednesday …
Please tell me I can start rehab Dr. Rose!!!! Pretty Please!!!!
